Lectron Taura PX with a Panasonic motor is a hot new product for the 2025 season.

The Model Taura PX represents the ideal combination of an electric bike designed for recreational off-road riding with the ease of mounting and comfort of a city bike. It is equipped with a Panasonic GX Power Plus motor, which offers more efficient assistance when riding uphill and on unpaved roads compared to the older version with a Bafang motor. The fully integrated slim battery with a capacity of 720 Wh provides enough capacity for long rides of up to 170 km.

Taura has become synonymous with the combination of the useful properties of a mountain bike with the ease of getting on and the comfort that was previously only available with city bikes. The unparalleled fusion of favorable characteristics positions this model as an SUV electric bike for everyday use as well as cycling tourism, even on unpaved roads.

At the heart of the new PX series is the powerful Panasonic GX Power Plus motor, with original software settings that exceed other motorizations in many parameters. Perfectly graduated assistance with the possibility of automatic regulation and the use of maximum engine power thus provides a great experience in all driving modes and steep climbs.

The gear shifting is handled by a Shimano 9-speed derailleur and a cassette with a range of 11-32 teeth. The optimal range covers common riding modes and provides a comfortable ride with a slower pedaling cadence even at higher speeds. The proven Shimano nine-speed system shifts precisely and has low service requirements.

Taura is the ideal companion for all types of trips not only on roads but also on unpaved paths, field and forest trails, where a mountain bike is more suitable. It provides all generations of riders with advantages in the form of maximum comfort, easy mounting and dismounting, and perfect maneuverability, which can only be found on city bikes, but are very difficult to use off-road. The extremely low step-through height allows you to swing your leg right over the motor inside the frame and is thus irreplaceable even with mobility limitations or during recovery.

Riding comfort and excellent handling are emphasized by the use of the proven front fork SR Suntour XCM with a travel of 100mm and a lockout. A pleasant braking effect and smooth operation are ensured by the braking system Shimano MT201 known not only for its effectiveness but also for its low maintenance requirements. The lightweight and sturdy frame provides an easy option for wheel removal thanks to the quick-release system. The precisely crafted cranks and chainring from the premium brand Samox also guarantee long durability.

Maxxis Crossmark tires 27.5 x 2.25″ have an optimized tread pattern to provide great traction on unpaved surfaces, but also offer a comfortable ride on the road and confidence when cornering.

Another trump card is the battery, which, thanks to the use of new generation battery cells in the Tesla dimensional standard, has maintained compact dimensions and low weight. It is integrated into the slim line of the frame and is also easily removable. The battery is connected to the motor's control center and provides an exceptional capacity of 20Ah (720Wh) with a range of up to 170km. With the bike, you can enjoy not only multi-hour trips but also have complete confidence even in hilly terrain or during dynamic riding, accompanied by higher energy consumption.
